OVERVIEW
The Provide First Aid (HLTAID011 ) is a nationally recognised qualification that teaches potentially life-saving skills such as wound and fracture care, responding to emergencies, basic life support, and casualty management. These skills can be applied across a wide range of worksites including construction, building, transport, and logistics industries and more.

Course Details
Our first aid certificate is cost-effective and easy to access. With flexible delivery, our first aid and CPR courses and programs are designed to work around your busy schedule.
The Provide First Aid (HLTAID011):
- Is easy to book
- Can be arranged on our site or yours
- Has everything you need from start to finish
- Is scheduled monthly, running from 7:30am to 5pm daily over 1 or 2 days.
You’ll get:
- Classroom-based training with health and safety videos, live demonstrations, and clear instructions delivered by our high-performing, knowledgeable trainers
- Home study-book for completion and return one week prior to course commencing (for Provide First Aid)
- Written and practical assessment including CPR training on a resuscitation mannequin
- All workbooks, training materials, and a hi-vis vest
- First Aid guide
- Nationally recognised statement of attainment for your first aid certificate
What's INCLUDED:
ENTRY Requirements
- Be able to read and write basic English (Workplace Health and Safety requirement)
- Pass a language, literacy, and numeracy assessment (LLN)
- Minimum 18 years of age (Workplace Health and Safety requirement)
- Provide two forms of identification
- Wear covered footwear each day of the course

Course Details
Provide First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)- HLTAID0011 & HLTAID009
Duration: 1-2 days
This two-day classroom or one-day classroom course with home study-book covers:
- Responding to emergencies
- Cardiac emergencies
- Respiratory emergencies
- Poisons, bites and stings
- Wound and fracture care
- Infection control
- CPR
Provide First Aid Refresher – HLTAID0011
This one-day classroom course covers:
- Condensed version of full Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) course for previous first aid certificate holders close to expiry
Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation – HLTAID009
Duration: 3 hours
Three-hour classroom course for First Aid Certificate holders requiring CPR updates only covers:
- Skills and knowledge to perform CPR in line with guidelines set by Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC)
- Practical resuscitation methods performed on a resuscitation manikin.

Awesome!! After coming from TAFE the training is so much better. Smaller classes better and more knowledgeable teachers who care about the students and more flexible learning (being able to do most of the work from home). TAFE felt like it was just there to keep apprentices there for as long as possible (spending 8 hours to do 2 hours of work) but here it’s all based around the student, come in for the morning to to finish up units then go back to work for the rest of the day.
