Earn your grader ticket and get valuable building and construction industry experience with Major Training.

If you’re looking for comprehensive grader training in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast or the Gold Coast, our knowledgeable team provides hands-on training at simulated site facilities throughout South East Queensland.

A grader ticket is a nationally recognised unit of competency that’ll give you the skills to operate a grader on a construction or building site. Having a grader ticket will qualify you for jobs in transport, mining and agriculture.

Major Training offers a three-day grader operator training course.  Learn in a real-life construction setting and become qualified for grader operations with the course below.

  • Three-Day Grader Course

This course is a professional grader operator training program based on competency and delivered in a controlled environment at Major Training’s high-quality simulated worksites throughout Queensland.

    The course offers:

    • Everything you need to earn your grader competency from start to finish
    • Three days of competency-based training and assessment from our knowledgeable team

  • What is a grader?

A grader is a type of machine used in construction, roadworks and earthmoving. Graders feature a long blade between the front wheel axis, allowing for a wide range of movement. Although graders can vary in size, they typically have a long structure.

  • What is a grader used for?

Graders are used for levelling surfaces to a specific grade so that substances like asphalt or concrete can be laid evenly. They can also be used for the removal of debris and earthmoving applications.

  • How do I become a grader operator?

To become a grader operator, you’ll need to undertake a formal training course to earn your grader ticket. By successfully completing Major Training’s grader ticket course, you’ll graduate with a nationally recognised unit of competency.
